Die Arbeit entstand für die von Adam Szymczyk kuratierte Ausstellung: „Strange Comfort (Afforded by the Profession)“. Sie fand in der Kunsthalle Basel und an mehreren Orten in Rom statt: im Schweizerischen Institut in der Via Ludovisi, dem Keats-Shelley-Haus an der Piazza di Spagna statt, sowie im Buchantiquariat C.E. Rappaport in der Via Sistina, dem Garten vor der Kirche St. Isidore und dem nicht-katholische Friedhof in der Via Caio Cestio, wo Keats begraben liegt. Die Ausstellung wurde inspiriert und betitelt nach der Kurzgeschichte «Strange Comfort Afforded by the Profession» (Seltsamer Trost, den der Beruf gewährt) des britischen Schriftstellers Malcolm Lowry (1909–1957).

The exhibition will include a number of international artists who will present their work in several venues located within the walking distance between the Istituto Svizzero on Via Ludovisi and the Keats-Shelley House in Piazza di Spagna - some famous and some of only local interest. The exhibition is curated by Adam Szymczyk, Director of Kunsthalle Basel, and co-curated by Salvatore Lacagnina, Head of the Artistic Program at the Istituto Svizzero in Rome. It is organized by the Istituto Svizzero in Rome. Another version of the show was presented in the exhibition Strange Confort at the Kunsthalle Basel.
